Job summary

Wellington Management is seeking a Senior Private Investment Services Analyst to manage operational activities across the private investment lifecycle, including deal approval, execution, and liquidity events. You will coordinate with private issuers, internal teams, and external vendors, while applying fund accounting expertise to reflect economic interests accurately in Wellington’s records.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years supporting end-to-end private equity lifecycle.
• Experience with private fund of funds investments.
• Knowledge of NAV, capital accounts, and GP reporting.
• Proficiency with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, and Excel macros.

Responsibilities

• Execute all components of the private deal lifecycle, incl. deal approval, lifecycle events, IPOs, and actions.
• Coordinate deal approval and lifecycle processes with private issuers and internal teams.
• Analyze legal documentation to operationalize deals (Stock Purchase Agreements, Credit Agreements, etc.).
• Track deal covenants, restrictions, and position changes for new/existing deals.
• Coordinate activities during IPOs, restricted shares cleanup, and distributions.
• Review reconciliation reports to ensure the investment book of record is accurate daily.
• Manage private fund of funds operations, including capital calls and GP reporting.
• Review GP reporting and reconcile commitments, contributions, distributions, and NAV.
• Investigate discrepancies with GPs/fund admins; oversee third-party vendors.
• Adapt processes to support new funds and asset classes.
• Ensure stakeholders receive timely communication for operational events.
• Support data needs for performance and internal/LP reporting.
