RSM is seeking an experienced Private Equity Fund Tax Partner to lead engagements, advise on fund structures and taxation, and grow the PE Fund Tax practice within our Financial Services Tax group in Los Angeles. This leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality tax solutions, deepening client relationships, and expanding services across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license required in state of residence or primary office.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of Tax experience in public accounting with middle-market clients.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to meet client service and deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication with firm personnel and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead client service and advisory for private equity funds and sponsors.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships across tax and other service lines.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing practice.
• Stay current on tax legislation and ensure quality, risk management, and professional standards.
