Job summary

Commerce Bank in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Private Banking Relationship Manager II/III to develop and manage affluent client relationships. You will drive loan and deposit growth, identify investment and trust opportunities, and oversee a portfolio worth over $25 million across hundreds of client relationships.

You will operate within the private banking tier, requiring a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in banking, with strong sales, communication, and relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• 5+ years financial services industry or commercial banking/retail personal banking experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to meet specific sales and marketing goals.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptable, resilient and positive with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a written marketing plan to develop/expand a portfolio of qualified client relationships through active calling to individuals in the private banking target market.
• Identify opportunities for sale of investment management products and trust services.
• Manage a portfolio of more than $25,000,000 and up to 350 relationships.
• Make decisions within lending authority or defend recommendations for extensions exceeding authority.
• Manage banking component of client relationships to avoid principal loss.
• Deliver client presentations and perform other duties as assigned.
