Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the U.S. Private Bank is seeking a Lending Specialist to advise clients on capital structures and tailor credit solutions for their needs. You will work with a team across markets to deliver first-class client experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, Series 7 and 66 licenses (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), and at least five years of credit risk experience with knowledge of loan, deposit, mortgage and credit products. MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Series 7 & 66 licenses required or must obtain within 90 days of start date.
• Five plus years of credit risk experience in financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of bank loan, deposit, mortgage and credit products.
• Ability to understand overall credit capabilities and risk management philosophy of the firm.
• Ability to understand wealth management including, but not limited to: investing, trust and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pitches to existing and prospective clients
• Analyze the book of existing clients to identify new potential opportunities
• Maintain an ongoing dialogue with existing borrowing clients
• Advise, negotiate and execute loan structures
• Structure solutions to client financing needs within acceptable risk parameters and in accordance with policies and regulations
• Maintain a quality credit book with active client dialogue and escalation of candidates promptly.
• Follow up on all client-related credit issues (e.g., missed margin calls, legal documentation)
• Liaise closely with Credit Risk to ensure the best underwriting outcome for the client.
