Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise privacy engineering and data protection for regulated data. You will drive architecture, implement PETs, and work with cross-functional teams to meet GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA requirements and audit obligations.

Responsibilities include data discovery, data mapping, DLP, and privacy-by-design practices to strengthen the organization’s privacy posture while enabling secure data use.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Privacy/ Security Engineering or related tech discipline with regulatory controls.
• 5+ years building enterprise data protection with encryption, DLP and PETs.
• Strong software development in Python, Java, Go or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and implementation of enterprise data protection across data types.
• Design and deploy privacidad technologies like encryption, tokenization and DLP.
• Partner with legal, compliance, product and security teams to embed privacy-by-design.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, impact assessments, and threat modeling.
• Manage governance metrics and cross-functional privacy initiatives.
