Job summary

IDB Bank in New York, NY seeks a Senior Compliance Manager and Privacy Officer to guide privacy and non-lending regulatory compliance. You will manage internal and regulatory examinations, oversee privacy and identity theft programs, and lead regulatory change initiatives while supervising staff and reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer.

The role requires strong communication skills, regulatory interaction experience, and the ability to work with senior management across business lines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in compliance or legal roles within banking or regulatory agencies.
• Strong ability to interact with regulators, management, and business lines.
• Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and discretion in decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to CCO, management and lines on privacy and non-lending regulations.
• Manage internal and regulatory examinations and regulator interactions.
• Oversee Privacy and Identity Theft programs and regulatory change management.
• Lead complaint and ongoing monitoring programs and staff supervision.
• Provide periodic compliance updates to senior management and board committees.
• Represent the Compliance Department in relevant meetings and training materials.
