Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; assemble pre-service estimates.
• Secure prior authorizations for scheduled and unscheduled services.
• Coordinate with physicians, schedulers, and financial counselors.
• Follow up on denied/delayed authorizations and escalate as needed.
• Document all notes and maintain electronic and paper trails.
• Assist with pre-registration and patient estimates when required.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and WHS policies.
• Maintain productivity and meet departmental targets.
