Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Sr Print Operator in Edgewood to join our Customer Communications Division. This on-site position focuses on archival and machine operations, handling print jobs on high-speed equipment and prioritizing work flow.

You will set up printers, run proofs, perform quality checks, train new operators, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Flexible schedule including potential overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task and operate multiple pieces of equipment at once.
• A self-starter with keen attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility in the work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printers in the most efficient manner, adhering to established processes and procedures.
• Run proofs of each job to check quality before releasing the job to print.
• Perform quality checks and accurately complete all paperwork.
• Maintain and demonstrate detailed knowledge of all job/equipment operating procedures.
• Train new operators (associates and temps) to operate all DDS equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Notify Leads/Supervisors of any issues (machine, stock or service) that negatively affect operation of equipment or jeopardize due times.
