Job summary

Evergreen in Richmond, VA is seeking a Large Format Print Press Machine Operator to support our Light Manufacturing team. This role focuses on operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting large-format digital printing and finishing equipment to deliver high-quality output on schedule.

You will collaborate with design, production, and customer service teams, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare files with Fiery and Adobe Suite to ensure accurate color and formatting for each job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in large format printing.
• Proficiency in Fiery and Adobe Suite.
• Strong knowledge of large format print production, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical manuals, and job specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot large format printing and finishing equipment, ensuring high-quality output and meeting production deadlines.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime and extend lifespan.
• Prepare files for printing with accurate color correction and formatting using Fiery and Adobe Suite.
• Monitor print output, adjust settings, and ensure quality control throughout production.
• Troubleshoot printing issues and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to clarify product details and prioritize workflow.
• Execute finishing requirements, including cutting, trimming, mounting, and operating CNC cutter/router.
