Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a Sr Print Operator for an on-site role in Edgewood, NY. You will perform archival and machine operations, print requests, and prioritize workload to meet due times.

You will set up printers, run proofs, and ensure quality while maintaining procedures. The role includes training new staff, troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe work area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task and operate multiple pieces of equipment at once.
• A self-starter with keen attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility in the work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printers in the most efficient manner, adhering to established processes and procedures.
• Run proofs of each job to check quality before releasing the job to print.
• Perform quality checks and accurately complete all paperwork.
• Maintain and demonstrate detailed knowledge of all job/equipment operating procedures.
• Train new operators (associates and temps) to operate all DDS equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Notify Leads/Supervisors of any issues that negatively affect operation or deadlines.
