Job summary

Outreach, Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Senior Print Finisher Technician to lead and execute high‑quality finishing operations that ensure every project meets customer expectations and company standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive bindery and finishing experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency. 3–5 years in print finishing, knowledge of Horizon BQ470 and Challenger CMT130 are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of print finishing or bindery experience, preferably in perfect-bound book production.
• Familiar with commercial print finishing equipment and processes.
• Experience with Horizon BQ470 and Challenger CMT130 is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read job tickets, schedules, PO and production documents.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot finishing equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, binders, and laminators
• Review job tickets and ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
• Perform quality control checks on finished products
• Train and mentor junior finishing technicians
• Monitor finishing supply inventory and coordinate replenishment needs
• Maintain equipment performance through preventative maintenance and basic repairs
• Collaborate with production, design, and press teams to ensure project success
• Promote workplace safety and maintain a safety-first environment
• Support production goals, productivity standards, and customer requirements
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production deadlines
