Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking Principal or Senior Principal Embedded Software Engineers to design, develop, and test software for an undersea payload. Roles require C++/Python proficiency, embedded RTOS experience, and leadership within agile cross-functional teams in Annapolis, MD.
Advanced degrees or years of experience qualify for Senior Principal level; security clearance (TS/SCI) with poly is required if applicable. Competitive salary ranges and comprehensive benefits are offered.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM with 5+ years in embedded real-time OR 3+ years with MS.
- Experience in C++ and Python.
- Embedded software development experience.
- Experience on Linux/Windows environments.
- Demonstrated technical lead experience.
- Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain poly.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and test software for embedded undersea payloads.
- Work in an agile team with cross-functional reviews and tasks.
- Ensure compliance with system requirements and perform design reviews.
- Lead technical efforts and coordinate with Technical Leads.
