Job summary

Oracle's Data Center Deployment and Materials team in the United States is seeking a seasoned vendor manager to lead end-to-end delivery of data center builds. You will collaborate with internal OCI teams and external cabling vendors to deliver new sites, support space and power expansions, and add customer capacity, while managing procurement from RFPs to PO issuance.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure deployment or support for data center capacity projects.
• Ability to mitigate risks to data center delivery to protect timelines.
• Experience coordinating with design, engineering, operations, supply chain, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery of assigned workstreams including vendor management and procurement lifecycle from RFPs to PO issuance.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and costs.
• Project Management: Oversee a broad portfolio of global data center projects to deliver capacity on time and efficiently.
• Project Planning: Develop long-term strategies to reduce complexity and speed delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear updates with internal/external stakeholders; conduct reviews and engage executives.
