Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Sr Principal Tool Engineer to lead the development and procurement of molding and tooling for NPIs in the Plastics Value Stream. You will partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure high-quality tooling and vendor capabilities, while planning 2–5 year tooling strategies to reduce supply chain complexity.

Qualifications

• Mastery level knowledge of the specialty area with advanced education and experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 8 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and implements industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype models and attachments for production or experimental use.
• May use CAD/CAM to design tools.
