Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Senior Principal Thermal Engineer to lead advanced thermal management for high-performance networking, AI, compute, and data-center hardware. The role defines future cooling architectures, evaluates next-generation technologies, and guides strategy across air, liquid, and hybrid cooling solutions.

The candidate will mentor engineers, influence cross-functional decisions, and drive sustainable, cost-effective cooling strategies while partnering with suppliers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Sciences, Aerospace Engineering, Physics (advanced degree preferred).
• Typically 15+ years of experience in thermal engineering, electronics cooling, or related disciplines.
• Proven technical leadership and impact through innovative thermal solutions and programs.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive the long-term thermal technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for HPE Networking products across cooling technologies.
• Identify, evaluate, mature, and recommend next-generation cooling technologies for AI, networking, HPC, and data-center platforms.
• Establish organization-wide thermal architectures, design methodologies, and validation frameworks across multiple business units.
• Mentor thermal engineers and influence technology direction across organizations.
