Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Sr Principal Engineer Test in Alabama to lead system test activities for DoD programs. You will create Master Test Plans, Detailed Test Plans, and Engineering Test Reports, ensuring compliance with military specifications and environmental testing standards.

You will interface with program managers, chief engineers, design engineers, quality engineers, and external customers, and lead bidding activities related to system test programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with Bachelors in Science
• 6+ years with Masters
• 4+ years with PhD
• Experience with DoD programs and projects as they relate to product verification and validation
• Understand military specifications and standards for verification
• Experience with environmental testing methods and processes
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings per ASME
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter EPLM and System Requirements tools

Responsibilities

• Create Master Test Plans, Detailed Test Plans, and Engineering Test Reports
• Administer system test activities per military specs
• Lead proposal and bidding activities for new programs related to system test
• Interface and coordinate with program managers, chief engineers, design engineers, quality engineers, and external customers
