Key Responsibilities
- Organize and self‑drive to gather required information, work with stakeholders, and provide analyses and presentations.
- Develop new and/or integrate existing system simulation frameworks, performance models, algorithms, threat models, and command and control models.
- Simulate real‑time operation and develop software/models that represent projected behavior.
- Develop, integrate and use advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
- Model operational environments, perform trade studies via computer simulation and recommend alternative architectures.
- Perform operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.
- Develop and integrate mission concept development, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), spares sensitivity, Operations and Support (O&S) cost analyses / ROI, and model‑based system engineering.
- Develop and adapt existing models, methods, and simulations to support design, development, and sustainment of system design concepts and technologies.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of statistical/system modeling experience; OR Master’s degree and 3 years; OR PhD and 1 year.
- Experience in statistical modeling.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
- Must have an active US Government Secret clearance; with ability to obtain Top Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
Basic Qualifications for Sr Principal Systems Modeling and Simulation Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8 years of experience; OR Master’s and 6 years; OR PhD and 4 years.
- Experience in statistical modeling.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
- Must have an active US Government Secret clearance; with ability to obtain Top Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications (Both Levels)
- Current active in-scope US Government Top Secret Clearance with Special Program Access.
- Previous project management experience.
- Experience with Tempo, VMetric, or EDCAS.
- Experience with MAAF or LCOM.
- Experience with data mining techniques.
- Relevant experience in adjacent logistics support elements such as Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Maintenance Planning, ModSim, SEE, PHM, SLO, Obsolescence Management, Training & Training Systems, Technical Data, Support Hardware, Fleet & Field Support, and Product Support Management.
Salary
Primary Level: $114,000 – $171,000. Secondary Level: $142,200 – $213,400.
