General Dynamics IT is seeking a Systems Engineer Sr Principal to advance customer operations and enterprise IT capabilities. The role focuses on senior-level administration and engineering of Windows-based servers, AD, Exchange, SharePoint, and virtualization across hybrid cloud environments.
You will design architectures, maintain security baselines, and lead a team of engineers in mission-critical settings.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of total experience.
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2016.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server 2019.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Skype for Business 2019.
- 4+ years of experience with VMware vSphere, Realize Suite, VCF.
- 2+ years of experience with VMware Workspace ONE.
- 2+ years of experience with Cisco networking.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior level administration and engineering support of Windows based network systems.
- Design, configure, implement and support fiber channel networks.
- Maintain system security and baseline configurations; monitor and remediate security events.
- Lead and mentor engineers; provide guidance to junior staff.
- Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting; ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
