Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to oversee design, deployment, and support of our IT infrastructure across multiple teams.

You will guide technology roadmaps, drive cost optimization, and evangelize best practices while collaborating with principal engineers and vendors to accelerate delivery speed and quality. Ideal candidates have 9+ years of relevant work experience, deep Kubernetes/CNCF expertise, OpenShift and Pivotal Cloud Foundry familiarity, and strong

Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
9 years of relevant work experience.
2-3+ years of leadership experience.
Kubernetes and CNCF technologies familiarity.
OpenShift and Pivotal Cloud Foundry experience.
Experience with SQL Server and Oracle.
AI-assisted development practices.
Ability to understand complex systems quickly.

Responsibilities

Delivery and execution at portfolio level; drive cost reductions and POC adoption.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching; participate in reviews.
Define technology solutions and roadmaps; unify strategy across teams.
