Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer Sr Principal to advance how our customers operate within a classified workstation environment. You will architect, engineer, and operate a secure enclave ensuring secure access to mission-critical systems.

The role requires 10+ years of related experience, DoD 8140/8570.01-M compliance, and an active Top Secret clearance. Onsite in McLean, VA with strong collaboration across cybersecurity and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science.
10+ years related experience.
Current and active Top Secret security clearance.
DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M compliance (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).
Onsite: McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

Lead and support architecture, engineering, and O&M of the classified secure workstation enclave, including Active Directory and GPOs.
Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and stakeholders to design and sustain workstation services that meet security and operational requirements.
Use Active Directory, GPOs, MECM, and core security controls to implement secure workstation configurations.
Review and improve system architectures; develop test plans, briefings, and product recommendations.
Follow and update engineering procedures, artifacts, and playbooks for the workstation enclave and security controls.
Support ConMon validation and annual security assessment preparation and execution.
