Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support the AISR&T program in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The role applies systems engineering and cybersecurity to drive secure architectures, requirements, and implementations for airborne ISR and tactical systems.

The successful candidate will lead cross‑functional reviews, collaborate with security teams, and ensure compliance with SCGs, CUI controls, and export requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required to start.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
• Ability to obtain special program access as required within a reasonable amount of time.
• On-site presence required to support classified work; some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews of Security Classification Guide updates with Engineers, Program SMEs, and Customer SMEs to assess impacts and provide feedback.
• Lead cross-functional implementation of SCG requirements with Industrial Security team to train program SMEs.
• Lead implementation of program-specific CUI protection requirements with Industrial Security team and SMEs.
• Support the Industrial Security Team in building and conducting Program Security Trainings.
• Support Export Compliance Team by evaluating and directing export compliance decisions with SMEs.
• Review contract security requirements and provide impact assessments and recommendations to Contracts and Program management.
