Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer for on-site work in Marlborough, MA. The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, hands-on leadership of system integration, and extensive experience across CONOPS, validation, and testing of ground and airborne systems.

You will lead lab activities, oversee interoperability of hardware and software interfaces, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with IPT leaders and customers to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Strong integration and test experience with test procedure development and reporting.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application.
• Excellent communication skills with IPT leaders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation.
• Act as SME within discipline with advanced to expert knowledge.
• Oversee lab activities including setup, configuration management, and testing.
• Ensure modeling, hardware, and software interfaces use scalable ontology.
• Oversee integration of solutions within target environment.
• Coach and delegate work of junior staff.
• Contribute to goals and planning, including cost and schedule.
• Review and document major changes in systems or processes.
• Analyze and document system behaviors.
• Support system trade studies and requirements allocation to subsystems.
