Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal / Sr. Principal Software Systems Administrator to support the Whisper program in Stafford, Virginia. You will manage Linux servers, perform lifecycle upgrades, and contribute to system design and testing for a large antenna-based RF transmission network.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, on-site work in Stafford, and familiarity with vulnerability tools (Nessus/HBSS/ACAS). Competitive salaries and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3: bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience or master with 3 years, or HS diploma with 9 years experience.
• Level 4: bachelor’s with 8+ years or master with 6 years or HS with 12 years experience.
• On-site work in Stafford, VA.
• Extensive experience with RHEL operating systems.
• Familiar with Windows OS/Active Directory.
• TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain CI polygraph.
• IAT Level II or higher before start.
• Familiar with vulnerability monitoring tools such as Nessus/HBSS/ACAS.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux server administration and maintenance.
• System development, lifecycle upgrades, server monitoring and patching.
• Assist with design, code development, testing, and maintenance.
