Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient storage environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define storage requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex Digital Technology (DT) infrastructure problems.

  • Integrate and partner with programs, network engineering, and high-performance computing teams to solve complex infrastructure problems.
  • Assure a high level of reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management, with a deep understanding of data storage performance requirements.
  • Respond to online service requests from users.
  • Ensure server and application compliance with security and performance requirements (e.g., DFARS, RMF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
  • Provide expertise with NAS storage products, with an emphasis on:

  • Assist in developing the overall performance and capability of your technical team through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Support systems that are operational 24x7, with occasional work effort required beyond standard work hours.
  • Start date will not be set until Interim clearance is issued.
What You Will Learn

  • Forecasting and budgeting for annual and long-term operating plans.
  • Vendor management and collaboration.
  • Insights into future technologies to replace or enhance current infrastructure.
Qualifications you must have
  • Typically requires bachelor’s degree and minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience working with a data storage vendor.
  • Experience with Linux Operating System (RHEL preferred), Windows operating systems for backup application installations, configurations, and implementation into production.
