Job summary

Autonomous Therapeutics seeks a skilled synthetic chemist to advance next-generation oligonucleotide medicines for delivery beyond the liver. You’ll bridge solid-phase synthesis, novel RNA/DNA chemistries, and delivery-enabling bioconjugation.

Responsibilities include synthesizing oligonucleotides, designing delivery ligands or linkers, and developing conjugated candidates with a focus on improved biodistribution and in vivo potency.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant R&D experience, including PhD work.
• Expertise in solid-phase synthesis and bioconjugation disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize oligonucleotides and related modalities (RNA/DNA).
• Design, synthesize, and optimize bioconjugates for delivery.
• Develop functionalized CPGs and linkers for on-column or post-synthetic conjugation.
• Characterize products by LC-MS/HPLC and related analytics.
