Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to lead reliability strategy for large-scale platforms and collaborate with software development teams to build reliable, scalable infrastructures.

You will oversee incident response, capacity planning, and observability programs, while mentoring engineers and guiding automation initiatives to reduce toil and improve production performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in site reliability engineering, software/cloud infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong programming/scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the SRE strategy for large-scale platforms.
• Establish reliability standards and operational readiness across teams.
• Serve as senior technical authority for reliability, scalability, and production operations.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to address systemic reliability risks.
• Develop observability strategies with monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Design automation and platform tooling to reduce toil and improve deployment.
