About This Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Principal Solutions Engineer for our North American Solutions Engineering team to provide leadership in working with both technical and business executives in the design, architecture, and deployment of H2O.ai solutions as a critical component of their enterprise data architecture and overall ecosystem.

What You Will Do

1. Apply your expertise while presenting H2O.ai technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at strategic prospects, customers, and partners.
2. Work with our product management, partners, and sales teams to drive innovation in H2O.ai technologies, leveraging best practices and reference architectures highlighting H2O’s AI Cloud Platform as a core technology enabling platform for the emerging analytics application workload throughout an organization.
3. Partner with sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers, strategize on how to navigate and accelerate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based enterprise architecture deliverables and working sessions to ensure customers are set up for success operationally, and support strategic enterprise pilots / proof-of-concepts.
4. Collaborate closely with our Product team to effectively influence the H2O.ai product roadmaps based on field team and customer feedback.
5. Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to spread awareness and support pipeline building via customer roundtables, conferences, events, blogs, webinars, and white papers.
6. Contribute to the creation of reference architectures, blueprints, best practices, etc. based on field experience to continue to up-level and enable our internal stakeholders.
7. Respond to technical product questions across the entire suite of H2O technology.
8. Successfully demo key components of core H2O.ai technology including Driverless AI, Feature Store, EnterpriseGPT, ML Ops, as well as open source offerings such as H2O-3, Sparkling Water, Wave, h2oGPT and LLM Studio.

What We Are Looking For

1. Bachelor’s Degree required in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience required.
2. 10+ years of technology architecture experience with a deep understanding of how to scale applications with large data sets.
3. 3+ years of Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) customer facing application development experience and expert knowledge of Kubernetes.
4. Experience producing technical architecture diagrams for various infrastructures with multiple components and deployment strategies.
5. Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
6. Broad range of experience with on-prem and/or cloud software.
7. Consultative selling experience is an asset.
8. Experience with programming languages (R, Python, Java) for machine learning.
9. Strong knowledge of Python programming and familiarity with various data munging and machine learning libraries.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Self-starter, able to work without any supervision.
12. Comfortable with traveling up to 50% and pursuing required clearances for federal and public sector opportunities.
13. Experience with H2O.ai a plus.
