Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks a Principal Solutions Architect for Global Systems Integrators (GSI) to join the Global Partner Team in New York, NY, or a nearby major airport city.

The role focuses on shaping technical strategy with GSIs, developing repeatable AMD-based solutions, and accelerating adoption of AMD technologies across enterprise customers and industry use cases. A hands-on, cross-functional leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Global Systems Integrators and partner ecosystems.
• Experience across AI/ML, Generative AI, data center, cloud, HPC, client environments.
• Hands-on software development and DevOps lifecycle experience.
• Experience architecting full-stack infrastructure: compute, storage, networking, virtualization, containers, orchestration.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure platforms like Kubernetes & OpenShift.
• Ability to translate complex architectures into business value for customers and partners.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills across technical and business audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across highly matrixed global organizations while driving initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic technical alignment with GSI partners and develop repeatable AMD-based offerings.
• Develop GSI-level technical strategies, architectures, centers of excellence, and scalable offerings.
• Accelerate AMD adoption across partner offerings, platforms, and services.
• Design full-stack enterprise solutions with AMD technologies for various industry use cases.
• Lead technical enablement through workshops, demonstrations, and architecture guidance.
• Participate in joint business planning and executive reviews aligning AMD and GSI priorities.
• Identify differentiation opportunities in GSI practices and AMD capabilities.
• Advocate for GSI partner needs within AMD and drive resolutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders on go-to-market strategies and growth.
