The Citrix Senior Principal Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in designing and implementing Citrix solutions that facilitate our client's business transformation. The successful candidate will assess business requirements, design Citrix/NetScaler architectures, advise on best practices, develop execution plans, and communicate strategic insights to senior leadership, serving as a thought leader. About This Team

The Citrix Solutions Architecture team is part of the Citrix business unit within Cloud Software Group. They provide expert guidance to customers, helping leverage Citrix technology to create value. The role requires travel (up to 50%) and offers a flexible work environment to balance professional and personal commitments.

Responsibilities

The role involves:

• Designing and implementing tailored Citrix solutions.
• Assessing business needs and recommending suitable architectures.
• Providing technical thought leadership.
• Collaborating with account teams during client engagements.
• Optimizing existing Citrix deployments.
• Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Identifying risks and designing mitigation strategies.
• Working with security and infrastructure teams for secure and efficient solutions.
• Sharing best practices and lessons learned.
• Analyzing root causes of problems.
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams.
• Contributing to new product and process development.
• Guiding and training team members.
• Leading small teams to meet objectives.
• Defining requirements and working on product roadmaps.

Experience & Skills

• Knowledge of Citrix and related technologies.
• Client-facing or consultative experience.
• Proven Citrix solution design and implementation track record.
• Interest in cloud transformation.
• Understanding of DaaS/VDI, Secure Access, Enterprise Browser, Mobility Management, Networking, Security, and Observability.
• Expertise in cloud technologies and integrations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and articulate technical and business cases.
• Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to travel.
• Innovative and business-minded approach.

Requirements

• Active US Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; master's preferred.
• 15+ years in sales engineering or consulting in high-tech sectors, with 7+ years serving US Federal and DoD clients.
• 7+ years experience in SaaS or PaaS.
• Ability to travel.
• Experience navigating complex organizations.
• Certifications such as Citrix, Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, or security certifications are a plus but not required.

Compensation varies by location and qualifications, with potential bonuses and incentives. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), and more, depending on employment terms. The salary ranges are: NYC: $209,635-$314,453; CA: $218,750-$328,124; others: $182,291-$273,437.
