About the Role
Join our Global Operations and Supply Chain Ops Innovation Digital Transformation team to develop solutions for data acquisition and user interaction beyond traditional interfaces. Work with our Event Stream Platform, a hybrid-cloud architecture enabling containerized services across cloud, fog, and edge environments, powering applications like LiveLink and Insights.
Define, diagram, and document the technological and human components to deliver cost-effective, innovative solutions that meet evolving business needs. Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit to define and implement IIoT solutions on the shop floor and in distribution centers, focusing on first-of-a-kind solutions and supporting global deployment.
Key technical areas include embedded Linux, LoRaWAN, IO-Link, MQTT, Kafka, and AI acceleration techniques. Software development and CI/CD experience are highly desirable, as hardware is treated like software.

Compensation and Benefits
Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits. Salary range for U.S. locations (excluding PR): $152,800 - $229,200. This position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability leave, tuition reimbursement, and well-being programs.
