Join to apply for the Senior Principal Solutions Architect role at Hypergiant.

Note: This is a full-time remote role. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and open to occasional travel.

We serve clients across industries like Defense, energy, healthcare, and aviation, providing bespoke technology solutions and expertise in AI and Machine Learning. Our team comprises military experts, researchers, and technologists dedicated to delivering strategic insights.

We seek a Senior Principal Solutions Architect to collaborate with agile teams on complex DoD projects, especially developing command and control (C2) software. The role involves making buy/build/partner decisions, designing system architecture, integrating capabilities, and ensuring quality. You will work with product teams to develop and integrate core software components aligned with our strategy.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Rapid prototyping and demonstrating solutions with developers, designers, and partners.
2. Coordinate solution design and architecture with product teams.
3. Analyze technical options and document decisions.
4. Support buy/build/partner decisions for cost and schedule analysis.
5. Provide technical leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
6. Document architecture and product roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of software development experience (10+ with a relevant degree).
• 10+ years managing and mentoring agile development teams.
• 4+ years using CI/CD environments with proficiency in version control.
• Experience translating system design into web applications using languages like Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS.
• Strong understanding of modern application architecture and concepts like asynchronous programming and data fabric.
• Ability to make and document architecture decisions clearly.
• Willingness to learn new technologies with pragmatic thinking.
• US citizenship is required; must be eligible for a CAC card.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years deploying applications on DOD platforms.
• Experience with React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Enterprise software development experience.
• Experience with mobile or distributed applications.
• Knowledge of GPU acceleration for geospatial visualization.
• Mobile app development experience.
• Ability to perform logging, auditing, and system metrics analysis.
• Experience with hardware integration and network tech.
• Active security clearance.

Salary Range:

$190,400—$227,400 USD.
