Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) in Bellevue, NE is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Software Engineer to lead software development across the full lifecycle. You will design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with Agile teams, and interact with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Candidates should have STEM degrees with 5+ years (or 3+ years with MS) and hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- BS or higher degree in STEM or related field with 5+ years of experience
- MS in STEM with 3 years of experience
- Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with OO languages (Java, C, C++) and version control
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools
- Cloud services development and Linux OS
- Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20% and work on-site in Bellevue, NE
Responsibilities

- Contribute to an Agile team and complete work independently
