Job summary
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) in Bellevue, NE is seeking a Principal Software Engineer or Senior Principal Software Engineer to contribute across the full software development lifecycle. You will work with other software developers to deliver high-quality software through CI/CD pipelines and agile practices.
The role requires DoD Secret clearance, strong OO programming in Java/C/C++, and experience with Kubernetes, Git/GitLab ecosystems, and cloud services.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret security clearance is required.
- BS or higher in STEM with 5+ years experience, or Master's with 3+ years.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Agile environments.
- Proficiency in Java, C, or C++.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud services.
- Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket/GitLab.
- Ability to work on-site in Bellevue, NE; travel up to 20%.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on planning, design, development of CI/CD pipelines and software systems.
- Work independently and as part of an Agile team.
- Assist team in delivering software on schedule.
- Solve complex problems with innovative and creative solutions.
