Job summary

Providence is seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer to own end-to-end development and quality of healthcare software solutions. You will evaluate requirements, estimate costs, design, and implement scalable systems with a focus on caregiver experience.

The role requires leadership across teams, strong OO programming skills, cloud expertise (Azure/AWS), and experience applying agile practices. This is a hybrid position based in the Pacific Northwest."

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 12 years of related software development experience, with at least 5 years as a lead engineer.
• Extensive OO programming experience in C#, Java, Python or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development and quality of solutions and services.
• Define and implement quality criteria with measurements to validate caregiver experience.
• Lead engineering processes, manage risks and dependencies across teams.
