Job summary

Early Warning is seeking a hands-on technical leader to set standards across engineering teams and partner with product, architecture, and customers. You will own design and architecture for scalable cloud services, drive DevOps practices, and mentor engineers while staying current with industry trends.

Ideal candidates have extensive FinTech experience, strong Java/Spring skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
• 15+ years designing and developing complex software, 8+ years FinTech domain.
• Experience building cloud apps with containers, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills; able to present to all levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product management to align strategy with tech roadmaps.
• Serve as a senior expert on software engineering issues and trends.
• Own technical design and architecture for product and services.
• Develop, scope and shape a departmental technical vision.
