Job summary

JPMorganChase’s Chief Technology Office seeks a Senior Principal Software Engineer to lead and deliver trusted, scalable technology products. You will drive strategy across multiple products and enable AI-assisted development, while ensuring security, resiliency, and governance across enterprise teams.

You will influence senior leaders, set engineering standards, and craft reusable frameworks that accelerate delivery and improve quality across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong knowledge of agentic AI-enabled development patterns and secure handling of inputs/outputs.

Responsibilities

• Advises and leads on strategy and development of multiple products and technologies across a portfolio.
• Creates novel code solutions and drives development of new production code capabilities across teams.
• Sets strategy and standards for agentic AI-enabled engineering to improve delivery speed, reliability, and code quality.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation at scale.
• Translates complex technical issues for senior leadership to inform strategic decisions about technology advancements.
• Drives adoption of modern engineering practices and reusable software frameworks across teams.
• Influences across business, product, and technology teams and manages senior stakeholder relationships.
