Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an experienced software engineer to craft highly scalable products for thousands of enterprise customers. You will master our development process, mentor peers, and present designs while improving the codebase.

You will work in a hybrid engineering model that values quality and reliability, with emphasis on testing and automation. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software development, strong OO programming skills (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python) and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or related technical degree is required.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of object oriented programming languages.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level language and a web framework.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products.
• Master our development process, culture and code base, then improve it.
• Operate in a hybrid engineering model ensuring code quality.
• Mentor others in development technologies, tools and processes.
• Present designs to internal/external groups and review others’ designs.
• Develop test strategies and automation; drive coverage and metrics.
• Participate in on-call rotation to keep services operational.
