Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Chief Software Engineer to lead enterprise-wide architectural initiatives, define long-term technology strategy, and deliver highly scalable distributed systems. This role represents the top tier of technical contribution within the organization.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive reliability and performance, establish API governance and data architecture, and collaborate with executive leadership on a technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• Distributed, high-scale systems design in production.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Go, C++ or similar backend languages.
• Strong leadership and cross-team initiative experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-level architectural standards and guardrails.
• Lead design and implementation of scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Architect multi-region, globally distributed platforms with DR.
• Drive modernization programs including microservices and platform consolidation.
• Define API governance and data architecture across the org.
• Lead reliability and incident response improvements enterprise-wide.
• Mentor Staff and Senior Engineers and guide talent growth.
