Job summary

Claritev is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in the United States to lead a diverse team of engineers in building secure, scalable, full-stack software. The role focuses on delivering stable, high-performance applications within an Agile framework, with emphasis on coding, testing, and deployment automation.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of software experience, 3+ years in a lead role, and strong expertise in ASP.NET, React, cloud platforms, and microservices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive software experience in relevant technologies and 3+ years as a lead.
• Hands on experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, Web API, MVC, SQLServer.
• Hands on experience building UI applications with React.
• Experience with cloud providers (Azure/AWS/OCI) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Helm.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and automated testing.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and data access patterns (EF Core).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce stable, high-performing applications from scratch.
• Participate in Agile lifecycle from coding to deployment automation.
• Design high-level technical solutions following architectural guidelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a self-organized team.
• Research and adopt new technologies to improve processes.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance where applicable and secure by design.
• Communicate issues clearly and propose viable solutions.
• Contribute to one or more technical practice groups.
