Job summary

Claritev is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in McLean, VA to lead full-stack development on an Agile team, define and build scalable systems, and mentor engineers. The role emphasizes collaboration with Architects, architectural governance, and delivering high-quality software.

Required 8+ years of software experience, 3+ years in a lead role, strong ASP.NET/.NET Core/C#/Web API experience, React, cloud platforms, microservices, and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ASP.Net, .NET Core, C#, Web API, MVC, SQLServer.
• UI with React and microservices architecture understanding (DDD).
• Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/OCI) and containerized apps (Kubernetes).
• Experience with event-driven patterns (Azure Service Bus/RabbitMQ).
• Proficient in TDD/BDD, automated tests, and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Strong fundamentals in data access (EFCore) and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to building high-performing full-stack applications.
• Guide architecture, ensure security, scale, and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and promote Claritev's culture and Agile practices.
• Champion CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automated testing within teams.
