Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of SI/PI and packaging experience.
• Experience with DDR4 and/or DDR5 memory interfaces.
• Experience modelling high-speed memory channels and SerDes.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic principles and high-frequency circuit behavior.
• Knowledge of signal equalisation techniques (FIR, FFE, DFE, CTLE).
• Experience with SI/PI-driven layout optimization.
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop SI and PI methodologies for advanced semiconductor products and high-speed memory interfaces.
• Lead SI/PI modelling, simulation and analysis at component, package, PCB and system levels.
• Collaborate with IC design, packaging and validation teams to set electrical specifications.
• Analyse high-speed interconnect performance including jitter, crosstalk and reflections.
• Optimise package and PCB layouts, routing, PDN and decoupling.
• Perform system-level simulations to evaluate trade-offs and improvements.
• Correlate simulations with lab measurements to improve models.
• Provide technical guidance across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with external partners and customers on SI/PI challenges.
• Support lab characterization, silicon validation and hardware bring-up.
