Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced RF/ microwave power amplifier engineer in the Hillsboro, OR area. You will design, simulate, and validate RF modules for wireless communications, working across design, product and characterization teams to ensure high yields and robust performance.

The role involves hands-on testing, load-pull, source-pull, harmonic balance, and EM simulations with ADS and HFSS, supporting production and new product introductions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of RF semiconductor experience is required.
• ADS and HFSS EM simulation experience are mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Design, simulate, develop, characterize, and provide production support for RF/microwave power amplifiers.
• Design input, output and interstage matching networks to optimize gain, efficiency, bandwidth and linearity.
• Interface with filter designers and switch designers to improve yields and introduce new products to manufacturing.
• Use ADS and HFSS for design and module laminate characterization and validation.
• Lead technical efforts, assign work, and ensure robustness for high-volume production.
