Job summary

SIXGEN is hiring a Reverse Engineer in Arlington, VA to support IC/DoD and DoJ customers. You will reverse engineer code with IDA Pro or Ghidra, develop C/C++ and Python, and help identify vulnerabilities across Linux, Windows, and embedded OS.

We welcome Senior and Principal levels; U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required. Hybrid work may be possible, but some in-office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Reverse engineering of compiled code using IDA Pro or Ghidra.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Experience developing for Linux, Windows, or embedded OS.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities via reverse engineering.
• Experience with hardware/software reverse engineering.
• U.S. citizenship required; Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineering compiled code from multiple platforms using IDA Pro or Ghidra.
• Identify vulnerabilities through reverse engineering.
• Develop C/C++ code in kernel and userland on Linux, Windows, and embedded OS.
• Develop Python code for server applications and binary data processing.
• Reverse engineering embedded hardware including firmware extraction and debugging with GDB/JTAG.
• Implement automation for testing, fuzzing, and AI/ML-assisted reverse engineering.
