Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Project Change Engineer to join the Sentinel Systems team in Roy, UT.

You will oversee cradle-to-grave changes, prepare change packages, and guide them through change boards while ensuring quality and traceability across PLM/CMDM environments. Required are deep CM/PM expertise, MBSE practice, and hands-on use of DOORs, Jama, Polarion, Cameo, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a Bachelor's in Science; 6+ years with a Master's; 4+ years with a PhD
• Candidate must hold active U.S. DoD Secret clearance and be able to obtain SAP approval
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance
• Experience writing, managing, and tracking requirements using DOORs, Jama, or Polarion
• Experience in System Engineering MBSE methods and PLM/CMDM processes
• Experience in CM/CI traceability in PLM tools (serialization of hardware) and related processes
• Experience with AGILE program execution and process improvement

Responsibilities

• Oversee changes to program and technical baselines through Change Boards
• Develop change request packages and present them at boards
• Ensure packages meet quality standards and are board-ready
• Coordinate follow-up on comments, impacts, and approvals
• Interface with Configuration Management for change requests and closure
• Ensure changes are implemented prior to closure and tracked
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor members in CM/PM practices
• Support program lifecycle activities and data management requirements
