Position Summary
Senior Principal Program Cost Control Analyst based out of our Linthicum, MD area offices. This onsite position offers a 9/80 work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide program planning and financial control support within the Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS), Multidomain Sensing, Targeting and Survivability (MSTS), and Navigation, Intelligence & Connectivity (NIS) divisions.
- Interface with program managers, functional managers, cost account managers (CAMs), and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
- Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system, performing Earned Value Management tasks such as WBS development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis, visibility reports, and estimation.
- Ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines, maintain accurate expenditure records, generate expenditure projections, and submit timely funding requests.
- Support audits and reviews, assist with Annual Operating Plan, Resource Plan, and Long Range Strategic Plan activities, and prepare financial inputs for internal reports and presentations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6 years of related professional experience.
- Experience with Earned Value Management.
- Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis.
- Strong PC skills – specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting).
- Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
- Current, active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field.
- Experience with COBRA, COGNOS, SAP.
- Experience in training and mentoring junior team members.

MSBSMG Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00. Salary determined by scope and responsibilities, experience, education, skills and market conditions. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and for higher level positions, long-term incentives.
