Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Post Flight Analysis Systems Engineer to develop and maintain analysis tools and conduct post-flight analysis within Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A).

The candidate should be proficient in C++, Python, and MATLAB, with a DoD secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SAP as needed, plus strong systems engineering and data analysis experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor with 8+ years related experience or MS with 6+ years or PhD with 4+ years in STEM
• US Citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret
• Ability to obtain SAP approval as required
• Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB
• Experience in Systems Engineering and requirements management
• Proficient with MS Office and development tools
• 2+ years in modeling, simulation, and analysis

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain analytical tools and perform post-flight analysis
• Modify existing post-flight analysis tools in MATLAB and C++
• Develop modernized tools based on legacy Fortran tools
• Perform flight test data analysis including trajectory estimation and GPS processing
• Generate technical reports and present results to internal/external customers
• Interface with customers and stakeholders
