Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Post Flight Analysis Systems Engineer in Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program. You will develop tools for post-flight analysis, perform reentry/orbital dynamics analyses, and work with MATLAB, C++, and Python.

The role requires a STEM BS with 8+ years (MS 6, PhD 4), US citizenship, and ability to obtain DoD clearances. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 8+ years experience; MS 6 years; PhD 4 years.
US citizenship with DoD security clearance or ability to obtain TS clearance.
Experience in C++, Python, MATLAB and SE including requirements management.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain post-flight analysis tools and perform post-flight analysis.
Modify and modernize MATLAB and C++ tools; leverage legacy Fortran where applicable.
Analyze flight test data, generate Best Estimate of Trajectory, and assess RV accuracy.
Prepare technical reports and present results to internal/external customers.
