Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Principal Software Platform Engineer to define the technical direction for deployment capabilities within the OCI Developer Platform. You will align teams around durable platform primitives and remove barriers to accelerate developer velocity.

This role sits at the intersection of developer productivity, cloud reliability, and scalable software delivery, shaping a platform used by OCI teams and customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, Python, or similar.
• Deep experience designing APIs, data models, and service architectures with attention to scalability, availability, security, operability, and long-term evolution.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native systems, including containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering concepts.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ownership: define strategy, align stakeholders, drive execution across teams, and be accountable for outcomes in production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions and build alignment across engineering disciplines and organizational boundaries.
