Job summary

WuXi AppTec Group is seeking a senior/pathologist to join our Natick, MA team. The role can be on-site at the Natick facility or remote depending on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will hold a DVM and ACVP Board Certification, with 10+ years in toxicological pathology within CRO or pharmaceutical settings. Responsibilities include pathology evaluation, reports, peer review, mentorship, and sponsor communication.

Qualifications

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent.
• ACVP Board Certification is required.
• 10+ years of toxicological pathology experience in the CRO or pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

• Attend key activities of preclinical studies regarding pathology, perform macroscopic and microscopic examination, evaluate data and write pathology reports.
• Participate in pathology peer review as SOP and protocol requires.
• Act as Principal Investigator for pathology-related activities.
• Conduct long-term education and training for junior pathologists.
• Communicate with sponsors to discuss results and answer questions on pathology reports.
• Provide consultation to Study Directors on studies.
• Ensure GLP compliance and adherence to protocols during study activities.
• Conduct toxicology and medical device studies in compliance with GLP/CNAS.
