Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care AG is seeking a Lead Networking Engineer to design, deploy and support advanced LAN/WAN infrastructure. You will lead a team, provide expert problem resolution, and create detailed design documentation, including Visio diagrams, to support enterprise network initiatives.

The role requires CCNA, experience with routing/switching, and a willingness to travel up to 25% across US/EMEA. The position offers a full-time, remote-capable arrangement with strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of related experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years
• CCNA is required
• Desire to become CCIE certified is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to travel 25% within the US and EMEA as required

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of network solutions and upgrades for Fresenius Medical Care LAN/WAN
• Provide direction in resolving complex networking problems
• Create and maintain network design documentation and Visio diagrams
• Collaborate on enterprise software and hardware selections for the enterprise network
• Mentor engineers and drive process improvements within IT infrastructure teams
• Plan and oversee data communications projects across LAN/WAN topologies
• Communicate project status to senior IT management and cross-functional teams
